Training sessions launched for candidates who passed the WUF13 Volunteer Program interview stage

From 16 February to 13 March, general training sessions will be organized for candidates who have successfully passed the interview stage of the Volunteer Program carried out as part of the preparations for the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

The training programme is structured around three core strands: general orientation, role allocation and venue-based preparation. The training is designed to ensure volunteers are fully prepared to perform their duties effectively and professionally throughout the event. A total of 2,500 volunteers who successfully complete the training programme will be deployed across various areas of WUF13.

The training program under the WUF13 Volunteer Program is designed to provide volunteers with comprehensive and professional preparation ahead of the event.

Out of 16,000 candidates who applied to participate in the WUF13 Volunteer Program, over 10,500 successfully passed the initial selection stage and were invited for interviews, and more than 5,000 of them successfully completed the interview stage.

Among the applicants to the WUF13 Volunteer Program, over 1,500 were foreign nationals.

The 13th session of the World Urban Forum will take place at the Baku Olympic Stadium from 17 to 22 May this year.
