All international flights to Azerbaijan for WUF13 are scheduled to arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport (IATA: GYD, ICAO: UBBB) in Baku. The airport is the country’s main international gateway and one of the largest and most modern in the region.

The airport is located approximately 16 km from the main WUF13 venue, Baku Olympic Stadium, with an average journey time of 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Under the current special quarantine measures, passenger entry via land and sea borders into Azerbaijan is temporarily suspended. Consequently, participants are requested to make all travel arrangements by air.

If your country of origin requires a visa for entry, you may apply for an electronic visa (e-Visa).

Foreigners or stateless persons temporarily staying in the Republic of Azerbaijan for more than 15 days have to register upon place of stay. For registration, foreigners must apply within 15 days of arrival in the country.
