Media Services

These services provide essential tools and support to ensure seamless coverage of WUF13. This section offers guidelines, resources and practical assistance to support media professionals at every stage of their engagement.

WUF13 Spectrum Management Portal

Accredited participants planning to use wireless devices that require spectrum allocation during the forum must register their devices and submit a spectrum request via the WUF13 Spectrum Management Portal.

Upon arrival at the forum venue, participants are required to visit the Spectrum Test and Tagging Desk to complete the testing and tagging procedure for their registered and approved devices. Only devices that have successfully passed this process will be authorised for use within the forum premises.

Detailed technical information on wireless device usage, including step-by-step instructions on portal navigation is provided in the Technical Guide on the Registration and Use of Wireless Devices.

All wireless device registrations and spectrum allocation requests must be submitted by 30 April 2026. Requests submitted after this date may be subject to processing delays.

For any questions or technical support regarding wireless device registration or spectrum request submission via the portal, please contact: spectrum@wuf13.az

Registration of Portable Live Broadcast Devices

Media representatives intending to use portable live broadcast devices (including LiveU, WMT, TVU, etc.) during WUF13 are required to complete the Registration Form for Portable Live Broadcast Devices.

Completed forms should be submitted to spectrum@wuf13.az no later than 1 May 2026, with “Registration Form for Portable Live Broadcast Devices” indicated in the subject line.

To ensure reliable operation and prevent technical disruptions, these devices must operate solely via SIM-based cellular connectivity, with the Access Point (AP) feature disabled at all times.

Customs Procedure for Media

All media equipment temporarily imported into Azerbaijan must be declared via the E-Customs: Electronic Customs Services Portal at least 72 hours prior to arrival in the country.

Upon arrival, media representatives are required to present the following to the customs officer:

  • Registration Acknowledgement Letter
  • QR code from the WUF13 Spectrum Management Portal (for wireless devices)
  • Simplified Declaration for Passengers (printed copy or QR code)
  • Declared goods

When departing Azerbaijan, media representatives must present the declaration submitted upon arrival, along with the declared goods, to the customs officer.

For step-by-step instructions on completing the declaration process, please refer to the User Guide on Customs Procedure for Media Equipment.

Additional information on the latest import and export regulations is available in the Information for Travelers section on the official website of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

For questions regarding the customs procedure, please contact mediaservices@wuf13.az.

Filming outside the WUF13 venue

Accredited foreign media attending WUF13 may carry out filming and/or photography outside the WUF13 venue (Baku Olympic Stadium) only after obtaining the necessary clearance from the relevant authorities in Azerbaijan.

A request form can be downloaded via the link. The form must specify the intended topics and filming locations and be submitted to multimedia@wuf13.az.

Please note that it is the responsibility of media representatives to verify any potential entry fees associated with these locations.

For filming at private properties, media representatives are required to contact the relevant entities directly to make the necessary arrangements. To ensure a smooth filming process and avoid any potential issues, media representatives are strongly advised to verify all relevant information in advance.
