Shaping Human Capital for Sustainable and Resilient Urban Development

Baku State University (BSU) - State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SCUPA)

The event aims to highlight the role of human capital in advancing sustainable and resilient urban development. Organized by Baku State University (BSU) in partnership with the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, the event will take the form of a full‑day international conference with 150–200 participants, including government representatives, UN officials, experts, and researchers. Discussions will focus on inclusive urban development, education and capacity building, climate resilience, and digital transformation. The event will strengthen academic–policy cooperation, promote international knowledge exchange, and generate insights to support sustainable, knowledge‑based urban development in line with the objectives of the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
