Place and Role of Mining in Urban Planning Solutions

During the Baku Urban Week, the State Agency for the Use of Mineral Resources will discuss the topic of “Recycling of waste generated as a result of mining activities and production of environmentally sustainable construction materials”. The place and role of mining activities in urban planning solutions, speeches, and the exchange of views in this direction are the basis of our concept. The main goal of the round table is to effectively discuss mining activities, its role in urban planning solutions, its impacts on urbanization, the reduction of environmental risks of waste generated during mining operations, sustainable management mechanisms and innovative approaches. The target audience of the event includes representatives of government agencies, the private sector, mining companies, ecologists, NGOs, and media representatives.
