Seed Marathon

Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan 

The event aims to promote community engagement in urban sustainability through a public advocacy initiative focused on biodiversity and green spaces. Organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sport, the Seed Marathon will engage around 100 participants in a combined workshop and outdoor activity centered on the creation and dispersal of seed balls. The event will highlight the importance of urban greenery, environmental awareness, and collective action. By combining physical activity with ecological initiatives, the event will encourage sustainable behaviors and support the development of greener and more resilient cities in line with the objectives of the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
