"Sustainable Cities and Climate Action", "Historic Preservation and Urbanization Balance" Model UN Conference

The event aims to engage students in thematic dialogue on Sustainable Cities and Climate Action and Balancing Historic Preservation and Urbanization through a full‑day Model United Nations conference. Organized by the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC), the event will simulate UN deliberative processes, allowing participants to debate global and local urban challenges from multiple perspectives. Students will discuss policy responses related to climate resilience, sustainable urban development, and the integration of heritage conservation into contemporary urban growth. The event will enhance critical thinking, negotiation, and policy analysis skills, encourage youth engagement in global urban agendas, and support interdisciplinary learning aligned with the objectives of the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
