AzUAC Workshops: Art, Architecture and Human-Centered Urban Design

AzUAC/AzMIU (Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction)

The event will be implemented in the format of open university lessons at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC), engaging 25 participants, including students, young professionals, and academic staff. These interactive sessions will cover drawing, painting, modeling, and sculpture, focusing on visual literacy, spatial thinking, and sensitivity to scale, proportion, and form. The open lessons will demonstrate how artistic approaches support the creation of safe, comfortable, and culturally responsive urban environments. Led by professors from the Department of Fine Arts, the event will promote interdisciplinary learning between architecture and design fields and contribute to human‑centered and sustainable urban development in line with the objectives of the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
